Ahoskie Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a detail-oriented Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to safely administer medications and support resident care under nursing leadership. Roles include medication administration, CNA assistance, and adherence to state regulations in a collaborative care setting.

Qualifications

• Current CMA certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, administer, and document medications as ordered by the physician.
• Verify resident identity prior to medication administration.
• Observe residents to ensure medications are taken as directed.
• Accurately document medication administration and any refusals or concerns.
• Monitor medication supplies and report needs to nursing leadership.
• Maintain accurate narcotic counts and report discrepancies immediately.
• Report medication errors or adverse reactions promptly.
• Follow facility policies, procedures, and state regulations.
• Assist with CNA duties as needed and within scope.
