University Rehab Center is seeking a Certified Medication Aide to deliver accurate medication administration with compassion in resident care. You will follow physician orders and policy while maintaining safety and privacy.

This full-time role emphasizes attention to detail, teamwork, and adherence to infection control, documenting every dose, monitoring for adverse reactions, and reporting issues promptly to the Charge Nurse.

Qualifications

• Holds a current Texas Medication Aide certification.
• Experience with medication administration procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications per physician orders and company policy.
• Monitor for adverse medication reactions and changes in resident status.
• Document all medication administration in accordance with policies.
• Maintain a safe medication cart and hazard-free environment.
• Protect resident privacy and confidentiality of information.
• Follow infection control procedures during medication administration.
• Immediately report any medication errors to the Charge Nurse.
