Job summary

Quitman Wellness & Rehabilitation in Quitman, TX is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our resident care team. You will work under the charge nurse to ensure timely and accurate med passes while delivering compassionate, quality care.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate in English (speech and writing).
• Previous patient care experience preferred.
• Current Certification for Medication Aide required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Shift Report.
• Perform routine patient care per policies and procedures.
• Employ preventative and restorative measures.
• Follow infection control guidelines during patient care.
• Report any changes to the Patient Care Supervisor.
• Follow charting guidelines for PRN documentation.
• Inventory drugs on arrival.
