Job summary

Americare Senior Living is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to provide safe medication administration and compassionate resident care within our skilled nursing community in Eureka, KS.

You will administer medications, assist with daily living activities, and work closely with licensed nursing staff in a fast-paced environment, ensuring health, safety, and quality of life for residents. Requires CMA certification and ongoing education to maintain credentials.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• HS diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Completion of a Kansas-approved CMA course is required.
• Active CMA certification in good standing with annual updates.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications under licensed supervision.
• Verify resident identity and document dosage, time, and observations.
• Monitor medication effects and report adverse reactions.
• Assist with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Collaborate with licensed nursing staff in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain accurate care documentation and admissions/discharges.
