Job summary

Duties include completing medication administration records, noting changes, monitoring vital signs when required, responding to call lights, and ensuring safety.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate knowledge of the five rights of medication administration.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications as ordered by a physician under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Notifies licensed staff when a resident reports pain.
• Records administration of medications and treatments in the resident chart.
• Responds to resident call lights and supports resident safety.
• Maintains documentation in the computer system as needed.
