Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Administers medications as ordered by a physician under the supervision of a licensed nurse, in accordance with regulations.
• Demonstrates knowledge of the five rights of medication administration.
• Notifies licensed staff when a resident complains of pain.
• Records medication administration and treatments accurately.
• Answers call lights and rounds to residents with nurse supervision.
• Observes for adverse reactions and reports to nurse.
• Administers PRN medications per policy.
• Maintains resident safety and quality care.
