Job summary

Carillon Senior Living in Lubbock, TX is seeking a Certified Medication Aide to join our Health Center team. You’ll administer medications under the supervision of a RN or LVN and assist residents with daily living activities in a hospitality‑driven, West Texas community.

The role requires Texas Medication Aide and Nursing Assistant certifications, plus state competency evaluations. We offer comprehensive benefits, tuition reimbursement, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Holds a current Medication Aide Certification and a Nursing Assistant Certification in Texas.
• Successfully completed competency evaluation requirements under state guidelines.
• High school graduate or equivalent (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, positioning, turning, toileting, and exercising.
• Safely administers and charts medications under RN/LVN supervision.
• Checks labels, doses, and routes; records on MAR and reports any concerns.
• Transfers, transports and escorts residents as needed.
• Maintains cleanliness and order in resident rooms.
