Job summary

Carillon Senior Living in Lubbock, TX is seeking a Certified Medication Aide to join our Health Center team. This role supports medication administration under RN/LVN supervision, assists with daily living activities, and maintains MAR documentation.

You will work rotating 11-hour shifts and benefit from a comprehensive benefits package. The ideal candidate holds a Texas Medication Aide and Nursing Assistant certification, with competency evaluation completed.

Qualifications

• Holds a current Medication Aide and Nursing Assistant Certification in Texas.
• Competency evaluation requirements under state guidelines.
• High school Graduate or equivalent (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist with administration of medications under direct supervision of a RN/LVN.
• Assist licensed nursing staff with activities of daily living.
• Record medication administration on the resident’s medication administration record (MAR).
• Report medication errors or adverse reactions to the charge nurse.
