Grand Living at The Grove in Austin, TX is seeking a Certified Medication Aide to deliver compassionate care and support residents' independence within a luxury senior living community.

You will administer medications, assist with daily living activities, and collaborate with nursing staff to ensure safety and dignity. The role emphasizes meaningful relationships, high hospitality standards, and resident-centered service in a premium environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CMA or Medication Technician credentials required as applicable by state.
• One or more years of medication administration experience preferred.
• One or more years of senior care experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, eating, grooming, personal hygiene, mobility, communication, and toileting.
• Support residents in accordance with personalized care plans while promoting dignity, independence, and well-being.
• Administer medications safely and accurately within your certification and scope of practice.
• Provide medication assistance in accordance with state regulations and community policies when appropriately licensed and assigned.
• Observe residents and communicate changes or concerns to the nursing team.
• Build meaningful relationships with residents and families while creating a warm, engaging atmosphere.
• Participate in community activities, wellness programs, dining experiences, and special events.
• Work collaboratively with Health & Wellness, Culinary, Lifestyle, and Hospitality teams to deliver an exceptional resident experience.
• Ensure documentation is submitted for all services provided or declined.
• Deliver care that is professional, respectful, timely and personalized.
• Help create an environment where every resident feels valued and cared for.
