Job summary

Mesquite Village Wellness & Rehabilitation seeks a Certified Medication Aide to work under the charge nurse's supervision to ensure timely and accurate med passes, maintaining high-quality resident care. You will follow charting guidelines, report changes in patient condition, and participate in trainings and meetings as required.

The role requires clear English communication, prior patient care experience preferred, and a current CMA certification to provide safe, compliant medication

Qualifications

• Must communicate effectively in English, through speech and writing.
• Previous patient care experience preferred.
• Current certification for Medication Aide.

Responsibilities

• Reports promptly any change of patient condition or other concerns to Patient Care Supervisor.
• Follow charting guidelines for PRN documentation.
• Reports medication reorder.
• Participates in all assigned meetings, trainings, education and in-service as required.
• Inventory documentation of drugs on appropriate forms.
• Maintain current CMA certification.
