Job summary

Spanish Trails Wellness & Rehabilitation in Albuquerque seeks a Certified Medication Aide to support residents under the supervision of the charge nurse. You will ensure timely and accurate med passes to maintain high-quality care.

You will follow charting guidelines, report changes in patient condition, and participate in trainings and meetings. Current CMA certification is required, with attention to accurate inventory documentation.

Qualifications

• English communication skills required.
• Previous patient care experience preferred.
• Current Medication Aide certification.

Responsibilities

• Reports promptly any change of patient condition or other concerns to Patient Care Supervisor.
• Follow charting guidelines for PRN documentation.
• Reports medication reorder.
• Participates in all assigned meetings, trainings, education and in-service as required.
• Inventory documentation of drugs on appropriate forms.
• Current certification for Medication Aide.
