Job summary

Town East Rehab in Mesquite, TX is seeking a Certified Medication Aide to join our caring team. You will follow instructions to administer medications and support residents in a clean, safe environment.

Ideal candidates hold an active CNA and Medication Aide certifications, are detail oriented, and collaborate with nurses to ensure quality patient care; daily pay option available and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must possess active CNA certification
• Must have current Medication Aide certification in good standing
• Detail oriented and able to follow instructions precisely regarding medication administration

Responsibilities

• Follow written and verbal instructions to provide timely medications to residents
• Accurately record dosages and report changes in PCC system
• Coordinate with nurses to assist with patient care and modifications
• Gather samples for urinalysis as appropriate
• Uphold all health and safety standards

A Day in the Life of a Successful CMA

• Follow written and verbal instructions to provide timely prescription and non-prescription medications to residents
• Accurately record dosages and report changes in medical system (PCC)
• Coordinate with nurses to assist with patient care and modifications
• Gather samples for urinalysis as appropriate
• Uphold all health and safety standards

Who You Are

• You care about serving your residents during every minute of your shift
• You are detail oriented and able to exactly follow instructions relative to medication administration
• Must possess active CNA certification
