Job summary

PruittHealth in Georgia-Baldwin is seeking a Nursing professional to assist residents with medications ordered by licensed healthcare providers, following individualized care plans and company policies.

You will act as a key communicator with the resident’s pharmacy, providers and family, ensure accurate MAR transcription, monitor for side effects, and maintain medication storage, documentation, and compliance with safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Key communicator with pharmacy, healthcare provider and family regarding medication management.
• CPR certification is required.
• Medication Tech certification is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience with long term care or assisted living is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Accurately document assistance/administration and resident refusals.
• Monitor resident’s medication quantities and procure refills timely.
• Communicate with family, pharmacy, and physician regarding medication concerns.
• Report and document medication errors to the administrator per policy.
• Maintain proper medication storage and infection control practices.
