Responsibilities

• Assist residents with medications ordered by licensed healthcare providers.
• Communicate with residents' pharmacy, healthcare providers and families regarding medication management.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration and document accordingly.
• Accurately read, follow and transpose medication orders to MAR and correct as needed.
• Maintain proper medication storage, infection control, and disposal practices.
