OPCO Skilled Management is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to work under the supervision of the charge nurse. The role centers on timely and accurate med-pass to ensure high-quality resident care with a culture of trust, compassion, and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Prior patient care experience preferred.
• Current CMA certification is required.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine patient care in accordance with nursing policies and procedures.
• Participate in shift reports and follow charting guidelines for PRN documentation.
• Administer medications as directed and manage drug inventory on arrival.
• Report changes in patient condition to Supervisor and participate in trainings.

Job Summary

Certified Medication Aide (CMA) will be under the direct supervision of the charge nurse. The charge nurse will follow up with the CMA to ensure the med pass is completed timely and accurately to assure that the highest degree of quality resident care can be maintained at all times.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in English through both speech and writing.
• Previous Patient Care Experience Preferred.
• Current certification for Medication Aide.

CLINICAL

• Participate in Shift Report.
• Perform routine patient care in accordance with Federal, State, Company and Center nursing policies and procedures.
• Employs preventative and restorative measures.
• Follows hand washing techniques and other infection control guidelines during the performance of patient care.

ADMINISTRATIVE

• Reports promptly any change of patient condition or other concerns to Patient Care Supervisor.
• Follow charting guidelines for PRN documentation.
• Reports medication reorder, etc.
• Participates in all assigned meetings.
• Participates in all training, education or in-service as required.
• Inventory drugs, on the designated forms, as they arrive.
