Job summary

Ranchwood Nursing Center in Yukon, OK is seeking full-time Certified Medication Aides to join our team. You will administer oral and topical medications to residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse, following physician orders and state/federal rules.

Qualifications

• State certification as a Nurse Aide is required.
• State certification as a Medication Aide is required.
• State approved medication administration certification.
• Familiarity with duties of a certified nurse aide.
• Strong observation skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications as ordered under licensed supervision.
• Adheres to the five rights of medication administration.
• Records medication administrations accurately.
• Monitors for reactions and reports to licensed staff.
• Administers PRN medications per policy.
