Job summary

Spanish Cove Retirement Village in Yukon, OK is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our Assisted Living team. You will provide personal care and assist with medication for residents.

Shifts are 12 hours, 5:45pm–6:15am, three days with rotating weekends and holidays, with a strong emphasis on compassionate, one-on-one care.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work weekends & holidays.
• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills.
• Frequent lifting & moving; able to lift/move/transfer 50lbs.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation daily.
• Compassionate, supportive demeanor; able to act with care.
• Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends.
• Willing to enforce health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for residents (bathing, dressing, eating).
• Assist with medications and ambulation.
• Help with mobility to appointments, walks, etc.
• Plan and prepare meals.
• Assist with physical therapy exercises.
• Complete shopping or accompany residents to shops.
• Perform housekeeping duties as needed.
• Report incidents promptly and respond to emergencies.
• Assist with daily living activities and meals as required.
