Job summary

Spanish Cove Retirement Village in Yukon, OK is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join the Assisted Living team. The role supports elderly residents with personal care, medication assistance, and mobility, on 12-hour shifts (5:45pm–6:15am) three days a week.

Qualifications

• Ability to work weekends and holidays as required.
• Enjoys one-on-one interactions and learning new skills.
• Capable of lifting and transferring up to 50 lbs safely.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transport.
• Demonstrates compassion and supportive care.
• Willing to work varied shifts, including nights.
• Committed to health and safety standards.
• Takes pride in providing high-quality care.
• Experience with Hoyer lifts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene care including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
• Assist residents with med administration and mobility as directed.
• Support mobility for appointments and activities outside the home.
• Plan and help with meal preparation and nutrition.
• Assist with physical therapy exercises as prescribed.
• Complete shopping or accompany residents to shops.
• Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a clean environment.
• Report unusual incidents and respond to emergencies promptly.
• Support daily living activities and meal servings as needed.
