Job summary

Entertainment Community Fund is seeking a nurse to provide routine nursing care in an Assisted Living Facility, following the resident's health plan and regulatory standards. The role includes administering medications and maintaining essential records to ensure high-quality care.

You will assist residents with daily activities, coordinate transportation and accompany them to appointments, and support the creation and execution of care plans with the Assisted Living Coordinator.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatment in accordance to New Jersey Department of Health regulations and facility policies; maintain required records such as logs, MAR, TAR, and communication books.
• Assist residents with ADLs including bathing, hygiene, grooming, toileting; promote independence; assist with transportation and accompany to appointments.
• Help residents prepare for medical tests (lab work, x-ray, therapy) and collect specimens as instructed.
• Participate in development and implementation of residents' general service and health plans; review daily for changes.
• Participate in Quality Assurance programs to ensure high-quality care.
• Ensure safety precautions are followed and report hazards or equipment in disrepair.
• Other projects as assigned by the company.
