Northgate Park in Cincinnati, OH seeks a Certified Medication Aide to administer medications and provide compassionate care to residents. The CMA reports to the Wellness Director and supervisor on duty, ensuring safe medication practices and resident-centric care.

Qualifications

• Must have completed state-required CMA education/certificates.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Be in good physical health and able to lift 40 pounds.
• Must pass drug screening and criminal background check.
• Experience in Assisted Living preferred.

Responsabilités

• Administer or supervise the administration of medications according to physician orders and MAR.
• Document medications on the MAR in accordance with policy.
• Conduct change of shift report with oncoming/outgoing staff.
• Maintain security of medication cart and perform narcotic counts.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, hygiene, etc.).
• Support resident dignity, choice, and individuality in care.
• Follow infection control rules and safety procedures.
• Operate designated medical equipment and office devices.
