Job summary

Recover-Care is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to provide routine nursing care and accurate medication administration under supervision on the resident care unit.

The CMA must hold a valid CMA certification, read/write/speak English fluently, and demonstrate compassion, patience, and a cheerful, resident-centered approach.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CMA certification.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Demonstrates compassion, patience, and a cheerful disposition towards residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the administration of medications to residents on your assigned unit.
• Prepare residents for therapy, visits, and activities, including transportation as needed.
• Accurately prepare and administer medications, ensuring correct patient, time, dosage, and route.
• Assist residents with hygiene and encourage self-care activities.
• Follow infection control procedures per facility policy and isolation protocols when required.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation during every shift.
• Present a professional image to residents and families through attire, behavior, and communication.
• Uphold the rights and well-being of all residents.
