CommonSail Investment Group in New Palestine, Indiana is seeking a Medication Aide to prepare and administer medications, verify resident identity, and follow infection control policies. You will support daily living activities and assist with charting under supervision.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, CMA certification, TB clearance, CPR and First Aid, and prior healthcare or geriatric experience.

Formación

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Prior Healthcare, Geriatrics, Caregiving, or eldercare experience preferred.
• Aptitude for dementia-related situations.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have CMA certification, CPR and First Aid.
• TB clearance required.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and administer medication and treatments as ordered by physician.
• Verify resident identity before medication or treatment.
• Follow hand-washing policy and infection control procedures.
• Order medications, supplies, and equipment as needed.
• Maintain accurate medication records for shifts.
• Chart and document per community policy.
• Assist in admissions, transfers and discharges as requested.
• Provide daily living assistance and support residents' social development.
