Care Initiatives is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our compassionate care team across Iowa. Full-time day shifts with every other weekend, offering competitive pay and shift differentials.

You will support daily living activities, med administration, and health monitoring in a skilled nursing environment. Ideal candidates hold Iowa CNA and Medication Aide certifications, with a strong commitment to resident care, professionalism, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities and administer medications.

What You’ll Do & Key Responsibilities:

• Support daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and passing medications.
• Deliver emotional support and provide companionship while fostering a positive and engaging environment.
• Provide health monitoringand conducting routine vital checks.
• Interact and communicate with residents, families, as well as the healthcare team.
• Encourage and facilitate resident recreational and therapeutic activities to enhance health and daily routines.
• Adhere to infection control protocolsto ensure a clean and safe environment for safety.

Qualifications:

• Active Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification in the state of Iowa, or the ability to activate certification.
• Valid certification as a Medication Aide. Medication Aide must be valid within the state of Iowa, or ability to activate.

• Strong commitment to resident care, professionalism, and teamwork.
