Care Initiatives is seeking a part-time Certified Medication Aide (CMA) across Iowa to support residents with daily living activities, administer medications, and monitor health while delivering compassionate care.

This role emphasizes teamwork with families and healthcare staff, infection control, and engagement in recreational activities to enhance residents' daily routines.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in Iowa
• Medication Aide certification valid in Iowa
• Ability to activate certification in IA

Responsibilities

• Support daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and passing medications.
• Deliver emotional support and companionship while fostering a positive environment.
• Provide health monitoring by administering medications and conducting routine vital checks.
• Interact and communicate with residents, families, and the healthcare team.
• Encourage and facilitate resident recreational and therapeutic activities to enhance health and daily routines.
• Adhere to infection control protocols to ensure a clean and safe environment.

What You’ll Do & Key Responsibilities:

• Support daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and passing medications.

Qualifications:

• Active Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification in the state of Iowa, or the ability to activate certification.
• Valid certification as a Medication Aide. Medication Aide must be valid within the state of Iowa, or ability to activate.
