Care Initiatives in Iowa is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our compassionate care team across more than 40 skilled nursing communities. Schedule options include full time, part time, and evenings with competitive hourly pay and shift differentials.

You will support daily living activities, provide medication administration, monitor health, and foster a warm, engaging environment for residents. Growth opportunities and robust benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in Iowa or ability to activate.
• Valid Medication Aide certification in Iowa or ability to activate.

Responsibilities

• Support daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and passing medications.
• Deliver emotional support and companionship while fostering a positive and engaging environment.
• Provide health monitoring and conduct routine vital checks.
• Interact and communicate with residents, families, as well as the healthcare team.
• Encourage and facilitate resident recreational and therapeutic activities to enhance health and daily routines.
• Adhere to infection control protocols to ensure a clean and safe environment.
