Job summary

Avamere Rehab of Junction City is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to assist with administering medications and basic nursing care for residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse.

Qualified candidates hold an active CMA credential through OSBN and current CPR/BLS; experience in long-term care or geriatric rehab is preferred. This PRN position offers day and evening shifts at our Junction City, Oregon location.

Qualifications

• Licensed CMA in the state where the position is held.
• Active CPR/BLS during employment.
• Prefer experience in long term care, geriatric rehab, sub-acute or critical care.
• Experience in electronic medical records documentation.

Responsibilities

• Administer oral and topical medications under supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Document medication administration accurately with dosage and time.
• Monitor resident well-being and vital signs, reporting changes.
• Assist with activities of daily living and basic nursing care.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and resident confidentiality.
