Job summary

Avamere Skilled Advisors, LLC seeks a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to assist residents in a Skilled Nursing setting at Avamere Rehab of Junction City, OR. The CMA administers medications under supervision of a licensed nurse, ensures dosages and documentation, and provides basic nursing care.

This PRN role covers Day and Evening shifts (6a-2p and 2p-10p). Requirements include active CMA license in the state, CPR/BLS, and EMR experience.

Qualifications

• Active Certified Medication Aide license in the state
• CPR/BLS certification active during employment
• Experience in long-term care or geriatric rehab preferred
• Experience with electronic medical records documentation

Responsibilities

• Administer oral and topical medications under licensed nurse supervision
• Document medication administration accurately
• Monitor residents' vital signs and overall well-being
• Assist with activities of daily living and basic nursing care
• Maintain safe, clean environment and report changes promptly
• Communicate with residents, families, and staff
