Job summary

Shell Rock Senior Living is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our nursing team in Shell Rock, IA. CMAs provide person-centered care through medication administration and direct support as delegated by the nurse, adhering to state and facility policies.

This PRN opportunity requires minimum two weekend shifts per month, with a schedule that may include Saturdays and Sundays. Qualified candidates hold CMA certification (or CNA with CMA eligibility) and are committed to

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• CMA certification with applicable state, without restrictions, and/or ability to obtain a state-specific certification (includes current CNA certification).
• Must be capable of performing the Essential Functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodation.

JOB SUMMARY:

Certified Medication Aides (CMAs) are responsible for administering medications, assessing information, and performing treatments in coordination with the resident’s care plan, the facility’s policies and procedures, and state and federal regulations.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
