Accura HealthCare of Spirit Lake is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our nursing team. CMAs provide person-centered care through medication administration and supportive personal care under nurse delegation.

We offer full-time or part-time opportunities and a supportive, team-focused environment in Spirit Lake, IA. Starting pay is competitive at $18.00 per hour, with increases based on experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must hold current CMA certification with applicable state, without restrictions, and/or ability to obtain a state-specific certification (includes current CNA certification).
• Must be capable of performing the Essential Functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as per care plan and state regulations.
• Assess resident information and coordinate treatments with the nurse.
• Follow facility policies and procedures.

JOB SUMMARY:

Certified Medication Aides (CMAs) are responsible for administering medications, assessing information, and performing treatments in coordination with the resident’s care plan, the facility’s policies and procedures, and state and federal regulations.
