Job summary

A residential senior living community is seeking Certified Medication Aides (CMA). This role offers both part-time and full-time positions with evening and overnight shifts. Responsibilities include administering medications, assisting residents with daily living activities, and leading shifts under the guidance of nursing staff. Candidates must hold a CMA certificate and may need CPR and First Aid certification. The community provides competitive wages and benefits including health insurance and PTO options.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensure residents receive medications as prescribed.

We are currently in need of part-time Certified Medication Aides (CMAs). Full-time could be a possibility. Evening (2p-10:30p) and overnight (10p-6:30a) shifts are available.

Your day-to-day

• Ensure residents receive medications/treatments as prescribed by their physician and follow the 6 rights of medication administration.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Effectively interact with residents with dementia.
• Participate in resident activities.
• Lead your shift with the leadership and direction of the RN, DON.
• Incorporate opportunities to create small, but memorable, experiences for residents.

Requirements

• Medication Aide (CMA) - MUST HAVE MEDICATION AIDE CERTIFICATE.
• CPR and First Aid certification. If uncertified, may obtain certification upon hire.
• High School diploma/GED or one-year related experience.
