Pleasanton South Nursing & Rehabilitation is currently seeking a talented Certified Medication Aide to join our team! The open position is for Weekend Double shifts with Baylor eligibility, from 6a-2p, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

1. Deliver routine daily medications, prescription or non-prescription, to patients.
2. Coordinate with nurses to assist with patient care and medications.
3. Follow instructions on medication management.
4. Record medication dosages and times.
5. Observe patients and document changes.
6. Gather samples for analysis.
7. Inspect and clean equipment routinely.
8. Uphold health and safety standards.
9. Respond to patient emergency signals.

Requirements

1. Must be a Certified Medication Aide and Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing or able to become certified in your state.
2. Minimum 1 year experience as a CMA.
3. Successful completion of training and competency evaluation.
4. Completion of orientation per policy.
5. Health screening and TB test within two weeks of employment.
6. Mandatory drug test within 90 days of hire.
7. Clear criminal background check.
8. Show proof of identity and employment eligibility within three days of hire.
