Job summary

Iris Memory Care of Nichols Hills is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) for the evening shift. This full-time role is located in Nichols Hills, Oklahoma City, within a memory care community dedicated to residents living with dementia.

The schedule is 11pm–7am with pay ranging from $17.00 to $18.50 per hour, negotiable based on experience. Prior memory care experience is preferred and applicants must be at least 18 years old.

Qualifications

• Active listing on the Oklahoma Nurse Aide Registry is required.
• Current Certified Medication Aide certification is required.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum one year of experience with older adults preferred.
• Experience in memory care or with dementia residents strongly preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Genuine warmth, patience, and compassion for residents with memory loss.
• Reliable work history and consistency valued.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications accurately and in accordance with physician orders and community protocols
• Assist residents with ADLs including personal care, dining, and mobility
• Support residents with life enrichment activities and social-recreational programming
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry to maintain a clean, comfortable, home-like environment
• Monitor and document vital signs and monthly weights
• Offer emotional and physical comfort and support to residents and families
• Uphold each resident’s dignity, privacy, independence, and individuality at all times

Rate of Pay: $17.00–$18.50/hour

*Pay is negotiable based on experience. Priority given to candidates with memory care experience.

About Our Community

We’re a freestanding memory care assisted living community with 40 residents, conveniently located off the Lake Hefner Parkway on 178th between Penn and May in West Edmond. Intimate enough that every team member truly knows every resident. All of our residents live with Alzheimer’s or another form of dementia, and as an age-in-place community, you’ll care for residents across the full spectrum of the disease. Smaller team, bigger impact.

What You’ll Do
