Job summary

Iris Memory Care of Edmond is seeking Certified Medication Aides (CMA) to join our memory care team in Edmond, OK. We offer a home-like environment with a close-knit staff and a schedule that includes evening shifts.

We value warmth, compassion, and dedication to seniors living with memory loss, with priority given to those with memory care experience. Pay is $17.00–$18.50/hour, negotiable based on experience.

Qualifications

• Active listing on the Oklahoma Nurse Aide Registry (required).
• Current Certified Medication Aide certification (required).
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year of experience working with older adults preferred.
• Experience in memory care or with dementia residents strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications accurately and in accordance with physician orders and community protocols.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including personal care, dining, and mobility.
• Support residents with life enrichment activities and social-recreational programming.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry to maintain a clean, comfortable, home-like environment.
• Monitor and document vital signs and monthly weights.
• Offer emotional and physical comfort and support to residents and families.
• Uphold each resident’s dignity, privacy, independence, and individuality at all times.

About the Role

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 3pm – 11pm OR Friday/Saturday Double 3pm – 7am

Rate of Pay: $17.00–$18.50/hour

Pay is negotiable based on experience. Priority given to candidates with memory care experience.

About Our Community

We’re a freestanding memory care assisted living community with 40 residents, conveniently located off the Lake Hefner Parkway on 178th between Penn and May in West Edmond. Intimate enough that every team member truly knows every resident. All of our residents live with Alzheimer’s or another form of dementia, and as an age-in-place community, you’ll care for residents across the full spectrum of the disease. What You’ll Do
