Job summary

Iris Memory Care is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) for the Memory Care wing in Nichols Hills, Oklahoma City. The role supports residents with medications, daily living activities, and social programming in a home-like community.

The CMA will work an evening shift 11pm–7am on a full-time basis, with double weekends option. The pay range is $17.00–$18.50/hour and is negotiable based on experience, with preference for memory care experience.

Qualifications

• Active listing on the Oklahoma Nurse Aide Registry is required.
• Current Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification is required.
• Minimum one year of experience with older adults preferred.
• Experience in memory care or with dementia residents strongly preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Genuine warmth, patience, and compassion for residents living with memory loss.
• Reliable work history and consistency are important.
• Ability to meet continuing education and certification requirements for the position.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications accurately per physician orders and community protocols.
• Assist residents with ADLs including personal care, dining, and mobility.
• Support residents with life enrichment activities and social programs.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry to maintain a home-like environment.
• Monitor and document vital signs and monthly weights.
• Offer emotional and physical support to residents and families.
• Uphold residents' dignity, privacy, independence, and individuality at all times.

About Our Community

Were a freestanding memory care assisted living community with 40 residents, conveniently located off the Lake Hefner Parkway on 178th between Penn and May in West Edmond. Intimate enough that every team member truly knows every resident. All of our residents live with Alzheimers or another form of dementia, and as an age-in-place community, youll care for residents across the full spectrum of the disease. Smaller team, bigger impact.

What Youll Do
