Rehabilitation Center of Lisbon is seeking Certified Medication Aides to join our skilled nursing team. You will be responsible for administering medications, assisting residents with daily living activities, and supporting safe, high-quality care in a warm, caring environment.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, Iowa CNA certificate, Medication Aide training, and CPR certification. Prior CNA/Meds experience is preferred; a commitment to resident safety and comfort is essential.

Qualifications

• Eligible candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must hold an unencumbered State of Iowa CNA certificate.
• Successful completion of State of Iowa approved Medication Aide training.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents accurately and safely.
• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and report promptly.

As a Medication Aide you are the front line of the Clinical Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Rehabilitation Center of Lisbon by providing our residents with the medications they need, performing Activities of Daily Living, observing changes in condition, ensuring a safe environment, and maintaining education. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

Eligibility

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have: As a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent, an unencumbered State of Iowa C.N.A. certificate, successful completion of State of Iowa approved Medication Aide training and C.P.R. certification. One (1) year of C.N.A. and Medication Aide experience is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate.
