The Rehabilitation Center of Hampton is seeking friendly Medication Aides to join our caring team. You will help residents with medications, daily living activities, and observe changes in condition to ensure high standards of care in a supportive setting.

This role offers flexible scheduling (8-, 10-, 12-hour shifts) and weekend coverage, with benefits and opportunities for growth within our skilled nursing facility in Hampton, Iowa.

Qualifications

• Minimum: high school diploma or equivalent, Iowa CNA certificate, and Iowa Medication Aide training.
• CPR certification required.
• One year of CNA and Medication Aide experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and monitor residents' responses.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living and observe condition changes.
• Maintain a safe environment and ongoing education.

As a Medication Aide you are the front line of the Clinical Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at The Rehabilitation Center of Hampton by providing our residents with the medications they need, performing Activities of Daily Living, observing changes in condition, ensuring a safe environment, and maintaining education. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent, an unencumbered State of Iowa C.N.A. certificate, successful completion of State of Iowa approved Medication Aide training and C.P.R. certification. One (1) year of C.N.A. and Medication Aide experience is preferable, but we are willing to invest in the right candidate.
