Job summary

Erickson Senior Living is seeking a Certified Medication Aide to support residents at Eagle's Trace in Houston, Texas. You will assist residents with daily living, administer medications, and implement personal care plans, ensuring a compassionate and inclusive environment.

The position requires a current CNA certification and preference for experience in both CNA and medication administration. We offer medical benefits, 401k matching, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Current CNA certification for the state in which you are working.
• Current certification for Medication Administration as required by the state.
• Minimum of 1 year of CNA experience preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of Medication Administration experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support residents' physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs.
• Assist residents in activities of daily living.
• Implement personal care plans for residents.
• Provide assistance with resident activities and programs.
• Work with the clinical team to address residents' needs.
• Administer medication to residents.

Position Summary

Join our team as a Certified Medication Aide (CMAs). Our CMAs support our residents in all aspects of daily living, providing person-centered care to ensure we meet all of our resident’s needs.

Available Shifts

• PT Morning 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• PT Evening 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
• PRN - flex

Compensation

• Commensurate with experience, between $15.25 - $18.50 / hr for PT roles
• PRN / Flex: $17.05/hr

How You Will Make An Impact

• Supporting the resident’s physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs
• Assisting residents in activities of daily living
• Implementing residents personal care plans, focusing on residents’ strengths, preferences, and preferred routines while providing a sense of comfort, companionship, and belonging
• Providing assistance with resident activities and programs
• Working with the clinical team to ensure the needs of our residents are being addressed in a timely matter
• Administration of medication to residents

What You Will Need

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Current CNA certification for the state in which you are working
• Current certification for Medication Administration - per state requirements
• Minimum of 1 year of CNA experience preferred
• Minimum of 1 years of Medication Administration experience preferred
• Current CPR certification preferred
