Job summary

Erickson Senior Living is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) at Eagle's Trace in West Houston, TX. You will support residents with daily living activities and administer medications as part of a compassionate clinical team.

Qualified candidates hold an active CNA license for Texas, current Medication Administration certification, and preferably 1+ year CNA and 1+ year medication administration experience. CPR certification is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Current CNA certification for the state in which you are working.
  • Current certification for Medication Administration – per state requirements.
  • Minimum of 1 year of CNA experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of Medication Administration experience preferred.
  • Current CPR certification preferred.

Job description

Location: Eagle's Trace by Erickson Senior Living

Join our team as a Certified Medication Aide (CMAs). Our CMAs support our residents in all aspects of daily living, providing person-centered care to ensure we meet all of our resident’s needs.

Available shifts:
  • PT Morning 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM PT
  • PT Evening 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM PT
  • PT Night 11:00pm - 7:30 AM

Compensation: Commensurate with experience, between $17.05 - $19.00 / hr

How you will make an impact
  • Supporting the resident’s physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs
  • Assisting residents in activities of daily living
  • Implementing residents personal care plans, focusing on residents’ strengths, preferences, and preferred routines while providing a sense of comfort, companionship, and belonging
  • Providing assistance with resident activities and programs
  • Working with the clinical team to ensure the needs of our residents are being addressed in a timely matter
  • Administration of medication to residents
What you will need
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Current CNA certification for the state in which you are working
  • Current certification for Medication Administration – per state requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year of CNA experience preferred
  • Minimum of 1 years of Medication Administration experience preferred
  • Current CPR certification preferred. Please note that specific state regulations and requirements may be applicable. These regulations take precedence over the requirements outlined in the job description.
