Heritage Care & Rehabilitation Center in Mason City, IA is seeking Certified Medication Aides for Part Time, PRN 3rd Shift to join our caring, qualified team providing medications, daily living support, and safety in a skilled nursing setting.

Eligible candidates have Iowa CNA certification, completed medication aide training, CPR, and ideally 1 year CNA/MA experience; we offer competitive wages, tuition reimbursement, internal growth opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent is acceptable.
• Iowa CNA certificate and Iowa-approved medication aide training required.

As a Medication Aide you are the front line of the Clinical Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Heritage Care & Rehabilitation Center by providing our residents with the medications they need, performing Activities of Daily Living, observing changes in condition, ensuring a safe environment, and maintaining education. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent, an unencumbered State of Iowa C.N.A. certificate, successful completion of State of Iowa approved Medication Aide training and C.P.R. certification. One (1) year of C.N.A. and Medication Aide experience is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate.
