As a Certified Medication Aide you will be on the front line of the Clinical Department, ensuring our residents receive high-quality care by administering medications,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Unencumbered Iowa CNA certificate and Medication Aide training required.
• CPR certification; 1 year CNA and Medication Aide experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide medications to residents and ensure correct administration.
• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living.
• Observe residents for changes in condition and respond promptly.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and document care.

Education

As a Certified Medication Aide you are the front line of the Clinical Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Harmony Davenport by providing our residents with the medications they need, performing Activities of Daily Living, observing changes in condition, ensuring a safe environment, and maintaining education. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent, an unencumbered State of Iowa C.N.A. certificate, successful completion of State of Iowa approved Medication Aide training and C.P.R. certification. One (1) year of C.N.A. and Medication Aide experience is preferred.
