Job summary

Harmony Davenport is seeking Certified Medication Aides to support residents by accurately administering medications, performing activities of daily living, and monitoring conditions to ensure safety and comfort. You will rely on your attention to detail and compassionate care to uphold high standards.

To be eligible, candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, an Iowa CNA certificate, completed Medication Aide training, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must hold an unencumbered Iowa CNA certificate and complete State-approved Medication Aide training.
• CPR certification required or current within reasonable compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide medications to residents and monitor responses.
• Assist with activities of daily living and maintain a safe, clean environment.
• Maintain education and report changes in residents' condition to the clinical team.

As a Certified Medication Aide you are the front line of the Clinical Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Harmony Davenport by providing our residents with the medications they need, performing Activities of Daily Living, observing changes in condition, ensuring a safe environment, and maintaining education. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent, an unencumbered State of Iowa C.N.A. certificate, successful completion of State of Iowa approved Medication Aide training and C.P.R. certification. One (1) year of C.N.A. and Medication Aide experience is preferred.
