The position is part-time, based in the Gresham community at 1545 Southeast 223rd Avenue, with duties including ADLs, vitals, and daily documentation. Certification and state regulations apply; English proficiency is required.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ months of experience in a related role preferred.
• Current Medication Technician certification depending on state regulations.
• Proficient English communication to perform duties and respond to emergencies.
• Basic computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook.

Aufgaben

• Supervise self-administered medication in compliance with Federal & State regulations and Senior Lifestyle Corporation guidelines.
• Count and sign narcotics with approved personnel before accepting medication keys; report discrepancies.
• Order medications and treatments from pharmacy or notify responsible party when supply is low.
• Notify supervisor when supply is low and medicine hasn’t been received.
• Verify incoming medications against MAR; report discrepancies to pharmacy/DH&W.
• Store medications properly and keep other products separate from oral meds.
• Date vials/bottles at opening and follow pharmacy intervals.
• Weekly med cart inspections; remove expired meds.
• Compare current MARs with new MARs at changeover and notify discrepancies.
• Remove discontinued meds from med cart and report to supervisor.
• Provide personal care to residents: bathing, grooming, incontinence care, etc.
• Provide general nursing care: vital signs, temperature, BP, weight.
• Document information in daily logs and report concerns.
• Answer calls and assist residents as needed.
• Daily and weekly cleaning/restocking of med carts.
