Job summary

Senior Lifestyle Corporation in Gresham, OR is seeking a Medication Technician to ensure safe administration of prescribed medications for residents in the Assisted Living Department.

You will work under LPN/LVN/RN supervision, perform nursing tasks, monitor resident needs, and maintain accurate MAR/TAR records, while upholding regulatory guidelines and company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and state-specific Medication Technician certification.
• 1+ months of healthcare experience preferred (senior living).
• English proficiency to communicate with staff and residents.
• Basic computer skills, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise self-administered medications in compliance with regulations and guidelines.
• Count and verify narcotics with approved personnel and report discrepancies.
• Provide personal care and nursing support to residents (ADLs, vital signs, etc).
• Document information in daily logs and ensure MARs/TARs are current.
• Maintain medication storage and security, and restock as needed.
• Attend trainings and participate in staff meetings to improve care quality.
