Job summary

Erickson Senior Living at Cedar Crest Village in Pompton Plains, NJ, seeks compassionate CNAs for part-time and per diem roles. You will support residents in activities of daily living, implement personal care plans, and collaborate with the clinical team to address needs.

CNA and Medication Administration certifications are required; CPR preferred. The position offers hourly wages from $22.00 to $26.25 plus shift differential, comprehensive benefits, PTO, a 401(k) with match, on-site health

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Current CNA certification for the state.
• Current Medication Administration certification as per state requirements.
• Minimum of 1 year CNA experience preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year Medication Administration experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support residents’ physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Implement residents' personal care plans, focusing on preferences and routines while providing comfort and companionship.
• Provide assistance with resident activities and programs.
• Collaborate with the clinical team to address resident needs promptly.
• Administer medications to residents.

How you will make an impact

• Supporting the resident’s physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs
• Assisting residents in activities of daily living
• Implementing residents personal care plans, focusing on residents’ strengths, preferences, and preferred routines while providing a sense of comfort, companionship, and belonging
• Providing assistance with resident activities and programs
• Working with the clinical team to ensure the needs of our residents are being addressed in a timely matter
• Administration of medication to residents

What you will need

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Current CNA certification for the state in which you are working
• Current certification for Medication Administration - per state requirements
• Minimum of 1 year of CNA experience preferred
• Minimum of 1 years of Medication Administration experience preferred
• Current CPR certification preferred.
