Base pay range

$18.25/hr - $18.25/hr

WE'RE HIRING F/T CERTIFIED MEDICATION AIDES FOR THE DAY & NIGHT SHIFTS. 12-HOUR SHIFTS 7A - 7P & 7P-7A.

Our pay range (CMAs) begins at $18.25 an hour & INCREASES based on your experience. Ranges cap at $21.25. Final pay rate is determined at the facility level after verification of experience. Wage shift differentials are offered for 2nd/3rd shifts. Employees are paid weekly, every Friday.

Responsibilities

• Administer physician-ordered medications including oral, ophthalmic, topical, otic, nasal, vaginal, and rectal medications.
• Administer insulin, epinephrine, and B12 as directed by physicians and clinical guidelines.
• Administer medications via metered dose inhaler.
• Conduct finger stick blood glucose testing following established guidelines.
• Administer disposable enemas ordered by physicians.
• Document medication administration or declination according to clinical guidelines.
• Report and document any unusual reactions to medication in the resident's record and communicate with residents, families, and healthcare providers as needed.
• Properly store and dispose of medications.
• Provide routine patient care such as bathing, grooming, and dressing as needed.
• Perform dressing changes for skin alterations per physician orders and report changes to licensed nurses.

Skills and Abilities

• Proficient in using computers, including Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Friendly and professional in interactions with patients, families, and staff, with a helpful and caring demeanor.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Nursing Aide in Georgia.
• Certified Medication Aide in Georgia.
