Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Certified Medication Aide for a travel assignment in Delta, CO. The role involves administering medications under a licensed nurse's supervision and documenting the administration in the patient’s medical record. General clerical duties may also be required.

The candidate must have CMA certification, a high school diploma or equivalent, and meet state/federal requirements. CPR and health certifications, if applicable, are needed; 18+ years old.

• Valid CMA certification in the state you will work.
• Minimum one year experience as a medication aide or medication tech preferred.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB screening or chest X-ray if applicable.
• Current health certificate per contract or state regulations.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsabilidades

• Administers medications to patients as directed and documents the administration in the patient’s medical record.
• May assist with general clerical duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required

• Valid CMA certification in state working

• One (1) one year experience as a medication aide ormedication tech preferred

• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice

• Current CPR if applicable

• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)

• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
