Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid CMA certification in state working.
• 1 year experience as medication aide preferred.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties as delegated by a licensed nurse.
• Administers medications to patients and documents administration to the medical record.
• May assist with general clerical duties.
