Job summary

Countryside Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing is seeking Certified Med Aides to join our daytime team in a 61-bed facility. We offer full-time or PRN shifts, a rewards program, quarterly raises, tuition assistance, and daily pay.

The CMA will administer medications, assist with treatments, supervise self-administration, and maintain records, within regulatory guidelines. Flexible schedule and passion for senior care are essential.

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Experience caring for seniors or in similar healthcare settings is preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Provide residents with medication administration and treatment assistance and services according to health care provider's orders.
• Supervise residents who self-administer medication while following company and regulatory guidelines.
• Report any changes in residents' physical condition and/or behaviors.
• Maintain resident records regarding medication distribution, leisure activities, incidents and observations.

Countryside Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing is a 61-bed facility, set in the heart of beautiful, rural Carlisle County. CMA Responsibilities:

• Provide residents with medication administration and treatment assistance and services according to health care provider's orders

• Supervise residents who self-administer medication while following company and regulatory guidelines

• Report any changes in residents' physical condition and/or behaviors

• Maintain resident records regarding medication distribution, leisure activities, incidents and observations

CMA Required skills and qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED

• One year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed

• Must enjoy working with the senior population
