Job summary

You will perform front and back office duties, handle basic patient activities, and coordinate with the care team. Requires a high school diploma or GED, completion of a Medical Assistant program (or two years' relevant experience), and CMA and BCLS certifications.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED is required.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program is required.
• In lieu of formal education, two years of medical assistant or related clinical experience is required.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) – AAMA certification upon hire is required.
• BCLS – Basic Life Support certification upon hire is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide a variety of patient care activities under supervision of a physician, physician extender, or registered nurse.
• Duty assignments vary and include front office and back office functions.
