Qualifications

• Associate degree in laboratory science or medical technology required.
• Certification/alternate qualifications may apply (see in lieu of).
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with lab equipment required.

Responsibilities

• Perform and report tests for waived, moderate, and high complexity procedures per SOPs.
• Ensure proficiency and accuracy in all laboratory testing.
• Follow policies and SOPs; escalate discrepancies as needed.
• Operate laboratory data systems and review pending work.
• Maintain specimen integrity and proper labeling/handling.
• Participate in QC/QM activities and monitor supplies.
• Aid in training students and new staff when needed.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment and document safety issues.
